Description
Here is a really cool item up for auction. I got this from back in the day when we at Toxic Shock in Pomona CA were distributing punk and hardcore to other shops in the early '80's. This compilation LP dates back to 1980 and features tons of great experimental/noise/ bands. its called Darker Scratcher and features 45 Grave, NON, BPeople, Human Hands, Monitor,Boyd Rice, Daniel Miller, Vetza, Doodooettes, Foundation Boo ,and more . On LAFMS (los Angeles free Music Society) Records circa 1980. You are bidding on the incredibly rare "Darker Scratcher" compilation LP produced by the legendary Los Angeles Free Music Society(LAFMS) on their own label in 1980. This record contains excellent performances by Jad Fair, The Doo-Dooettes, Airway, 45 Grave, and others. This collection was financed, produced, and released by the society. Hence, it was made in extremely small quantities and is quite rare. Most of the songs on here are not contained on other releases. I bought it at a record show a few years ago for 75 dollars and I'm not sure how much it is worth these days. Sleeve: NM(a few small tears on spine); Vinyl: NM.
