Description
This is possibly unique.This copy was sent to Pennine Radio in 1977 prior to the Band playing at the Bradford University Main Hall on 30/04/77.
It was sent to them in the VM4 picture sleeve(not gate fold edition) in a plain white inner sleeve.The white label Test/Promo pressing is of the ILPS 9500 album.This was released in a gate fold sleeve.
The matrix numbers are Side A A PORKY PRIME CUT ILPS 9500 A1 EG Side B MASTER ROOM I ILPS 9500 B1 EG
There is a hand written note in pencil on the white inner.It is a note to Liz Allen,one of the original presenters,from Bill( I assume it is someone from the Band/Label etc,not sure) The message is as follows...
Liz, Ian Gillan(ex Deep Purple singist) will be in town on 30th April at Bradford university.He`s incorporating a radio tour into this tour and has made up a special tape of unpublished Purple material and other interesting facts and info,so should make a really interesting program.I`ll speak to you next week about it. Love Bill

I bought this from a dealer in 1982 and never noticed the note on the sleeve,as I have never played it.It has come to light since I decided to sell some of my my collection.The only thing about this I cannot solve is who is Bill??It was obviously all part of the promotion around the tour of 1977 .
