Description

7" single: SPENCER MAC "Blues Up In Down Town" b/w "Ka-Ka Kabya Mow-Mow" (Penny Farthing PEN 723) 1970 UK stock copy

You are bidding on the rare debut UK original vinyl SPENCER MAC single. Currently in white-hot demand on the mod scene, with funk collectors starting to take note. Both sides feature great Hammond, swirling strings, throbbing basslines, percussion breakdowns and are pure dancefloor dynamite. "Ka Ka Kabya Mow Mow" is the side for me, an absolute monster of a groove just begging to be sampled! Foreign issues of Spencer Mac occasionally surface, but this is an ultra-rare original UK pressing stock copy. Nice! Check my other auctions for the other Spencer Mac single up for grabs...

CONDITION : M- (Sleeve/Record)

DESCRIPTION : Stunning copy, probably unplayed until I checked it. Comes in original Penny Farthing company sleeve.

KEYWORDS : Vertigo swirl, Harvest, Dawn, psychedelic, progressive

PAYMENT : Buyer pays in UK pounds, cheque (in the UK), cash in registered envelope, IMO or Paypal (plus 4% handling fee).

POSTAGE : 12"s/LPs : £2.50 (UK), £3.50 (Europe) and £6 (Rest of World) / 7”s/CDs : £1.50 (UK), £2.50 (Europe) and £3.50 (Rest of World). Will discount for combined shipping.

NOTES I am first and foremeost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. Albums will be removed from outer sleeve to avoid seam splits in transit.

Good luck and check my other auctions for a selection of soul, funk, jazz, progressive, hip-hop, beats, breaks, samples and other odd-ball gear...
