Description

ONE WORLD: Victory (EMI 0091, 1977), made in Nigeria.

Everyone has their opinions, and this one is mine: This record puts Ofege to shame! This is One World's debut album, which came quite a time after their 1972 hit "Love Rock." Conscious lyrics, great psychy guitar moves, organ shots, a KILLER rhythm section, funky and rocky and solid beginning to end. Even the ballad "You" is fantastic, with super lyrics and cool acoustic guitar; the vocal and electric guitar on "Mr. Experience" is sweet. There is no African psych-funk album better than this, and I've owned many. You will not be disappointed.

The cover is a solid VG. A touch of ring wear top front. A bit of Nigerian dirt on the back. Very presentable! The vinyl looks VG but plays between strong VG and VG+. There are some very light marks but no skips at all. Plays just fine with minimal background noise.

"I Need Your Help" is priceless by itself—but you get a whole album that FEELS like it was meant to be played beginning to end!

Low starting price to encourage bidding.

You MUST have 10 feedbacks or I will delete your bid. Will ship worldwide: US (Priority Mail) = $6.25; Canada = $7.50; UK (air mail) = $9.75; Europe (air mail) = $12.50; Japan + Australia (air mail) = $14.00. Payment MUST be received within 5 days after the auction or I will automatically relist. Thank you for looking!
