Description
oasis whats the story morning glory vinyl. Condition is "Used".
Original Damont copy from1995 and I am it’s original owner and this is from my personal collection of vinyls which I love and have treated accordingly.
The sleeve is not bad for an album from the 90s as vinyl really was secondary and treated by the record companies in an act of cultural vandalism and not accorded the longevity treatment of your earlier popsicles like the Beatles and the Stones etc with a laminated sleeve which is why you can still find those guys sleeves in minty condition. In fact go into any charity shop and be amazed that most vinyl sleeves were laminated back in the day who ever the artist was (I use that term lightly. )
This sleeve has a small ink stain near the title and a little rubbing near the corners and around the catalogue no on the spine and a few tiny indentations on the rear, see the pics am super picky. The black card inner sleeves have no tears and main sleeve has no splits the spine is not crushed or has any separation issues. In the hand it looks better than the pics.
Onto the important bit I have just played the album through the vinyl is shiny big and beefy sounding something i feel is lacking from later issues with their digital klenzing and this is in no small doubt thanks to the meaty goodness of Bonehead and Guigsy before they were remixed down on later pressings to Santa’s and Liams backing band then remixed out the door altogether for fear of frightening the joyless tweenies of these our later years and replaced by a guy from Oxford lol and another who I’m not sure of where he’s from.
There are only two pops on the record at the start of Champagne Supernova I recall they have always been there a bi product of those vinyl pressing days, and didn’t notice any scratches at all otherwise it’s a bright and clear pre digitised sound. Spindle hole wear is minimal as you can see from pics, I have only played this album under a half dozen times in its life and always on a good stereo Oasis were the aural dna of those times so consequently didn’t get played a lot at home as they were everywhere you went.
To recap: record is in vg++ I would say with no degradation of sound quality still has that new look and sound and the sleeve is vg for a 90s record.
There you have it an Oasis record in an original sounding and underplayed state.
