...Wont You Pass It Along? : Private Christian Folk LP..no writing on spine, simple blue label with silver type.... recorded at Berkely Divinity School in New Haven Connecticut in 1969...True old time folk guitar and singing ....Guitar, Banjo, and Wash Tub Bass..Pete Seeger style, hootenanny, pickin', bluegrass, call and response vocals, from true old time style music like the old music that is featured on Smithsonian Folkways to more hippy sounding songs addressing many political issues of the era from a Christian standpoint....Side A features a "folk setting of the holy eucharist"....the real gems are on side B, including "talking circular me" addresses folk talk about the problems of current times.."motherhood and civil rights, bearded man and a cosmic show some kind of raffle, he said you'll be alright the problem is that I'm not alright, where do I go from here"...there is an amazing track called "Let the Children be Children" where Howie Stowe sings a duet with 5 year old Lisa Apthorp..an incredible track due to her super cute and truly aware singing and lines about picking flowers and eating Cough Drops.."Five O Clock in the Morning" is about the pensive New Haven dawn "grass is so green and if we'll be the same with their little game..fog, rain, falling dew, and they will awake and their guns will take its toll"..."The Price of Reading" begins withBob Macarthur doing the talkin' ramble over guitar storytelling of "man Jonathan Daniels got shot by a shotgun - the other man got away..second hand news - second hand citizens who are only too willng to pay the dime for their second hand concerns..he refused to buy a paper - shotgun made him pay, when a killer is free who's the hell to blame"...Cover has corner and edge wear seam split and surface ring wear...Vinyl is clean and plays well through ....VG...VG+.

Foreign Postage Rates :Airmail Europe/UK =$11.00 for 1 LP, each additional lp add $3.00 per LP.. Surface mail (very slow, possible 6-8 weeks!) 1 lp=$5.50...Airmail for Japan/Australia/Asia = $12.00 for 1 LP; each additional lp=$3.00(per lp). Surface mail 1 LP =$6.00. Airmail Canada =$5.50 for 1 lp.
