Description

For sale is an exceedingly scarce piece of 1924 sheet music for the song Driftwood. Published by Irving Berlin Inc. music publishing, with lyrics by Gus Kahn and music by Lew Gold. What makes the sheet music special is that it has a picture at the top of Bix Beiderbecke in the "Dick Voynow and The Wolverines" orchestra. I have only been able to find reference to one of these anywhere. Rare. Sheet music has a few small tears around the edges, moderate signs of wear, etc. Great! This is one of several 1920s jazz pieces of sheet music I am listing today, including another of the Wolverines which may have an image of Bix on it (and appears to be even rare than this one).
