original John Lennon BAG ONE portfolio prints
In 1969, John Ono Lennon drew the Bag One Portfolio as a wedding gift for his wife, Yoko Ono Lennon - a series of 14 drawings representing scenes from their marriage in Gibraltar (Bag One, I Do, Exchange of Rings), one from the subsequent Bed-In (Bed In For Peace), one showing their faces (John and Yoko), and eight erotic motifs.
This lot is for eight of the prints, each measuring 14" x19.4” approx. Note these are not the first edition run which were signed in pencil by the artist.
Condition is variable, with some having water damage/staining and all displaying general wear and tear as highlighted in the photos.
