Description

dark side of the moon 1973 u.k. stereo solid blue very rare 1st  pressing, shvl-8C4  A/2 shvl-8C4 B/2...the vinyl is in good condition, with no scratches or jumps, and has a nice sheene to it..some minor hairline surface marks that dont effect the playing...has some static on the quite parts at the beginning of side one which fade away.....side two has virtually no static ...

the garrard and lofthouse gatefold single opening dark blue outer sleeve is in good condition, complete with round sticker ..but does have a small blacked out name on the inside of the sleeve, the sealed side has the rolled over edge...

the inner black polylined sleeve is excellent... patent No 1.125.555...

comes with excellent mark free posters and stickers...a nice complete set..this album can only increase in value..

two solid blues have recently sold for £770 and £300 on e/bay...they were described as being 1st pressings and 1st day issues....i learnt today 23/1/10..from a very reliable source that there is no way of knowing a 1st day issue...this was my thought also which is why i never described mine as a 1st day issue...i wrote to the seller of the £300 solid blue asking him how he knew it was a 1st day issue so i could tell if mine was...he never replied, i,m wondering why ????
