Description
I've been searching for over a year for any information on this LP and I've never been able to find a single scrap of info on it. It seems like nobody has ever come across this phenomenal LP before. RARE doesn't even come close to describing the scarcity of this HOLY GRAIL of private press LPs. At this point is appears to be the ONLY copy to have surfaced.
According to the back of the LP The Court of Appeal seems to be a Christian group from Little Falls New Jersey who recorded and self-released this masterpiece for their own Appelaing Sounds label in 1974. The whole album is soaked in a weird outsider christian soul vibe, the closest thing I can compare it to is DR HOOKER's the Truth LP. The album is full of wah wah, organ, mellotron, drum breaks, tympani and funky flute. Side 1 even ends in what sounds like an electric jug solo! The entire album ends with a cover of GEORGE HARRISON's 'My Sweet Lord'. This album is incredible all the way through and really needs to be heard to be believed!

Condition: LP Side 1 VG+ (light scratching & surface noise) LP Side 2 G (heavy scratches & some skipping on tracks 2~4, which does not effect the best tracks, #1 a funky number heard in the above sound sample and the last track, the George Harrison cover) Sleeve: G (cover has been split and then taped together, The LP also appears to be SIGNED on the front by all the members of the Court of Appeal!!!)
