LED ZEPPELIN "IV" aka "4" aka "Four Symbols" (Atlantic deluxe 2401012) original UK 1971 STEREO first pressing (red/plum label) GATEFOLD SLEEVE
CLASSIC! Absolutely stunning album and a must for every collection. A great example of a first pressing, plum/red labels with symbols at top. A3/B3 is the earliest matrix pressing, these are both followed by number 1, indicating a VERY EARLY pressing!

CONDITION : solid EX/EX (Sleeve/Record)
DESCRIPTION : Led Zeppelin albums usually turn up utterly wrecked - however, this is a pretty decent copy which has been played by its previous owner, but been well cared for and escaped parties! The record has some surface scuffing, but nothing you'd describe as a scratch - incredibly LOUD cut, and music plays loud and clear. Gatefold sleeve shows only light wear, a strong example. Inner sleeve is fragile and has seam split at bottom and some light wear at edges (very hard to avoid, and extremely common since record has sharp edges) - but no creases, so still looks fresh. Owners name neatly written on one side. Labels in excellent shape, again, owners name written on one side (see photo). So to sum up, a great copy for collectors of FIRST PRESSINGS who want to listen to and enjoy the music but aren't mint freaks!

SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. Albums will be removed from outer sleeve to avoid seam splits in transit. All records are sent with a certificate of posting, if you wish additional insurance please ask – I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels.
