Description

Hi, Up for sale today is a rare 1965 private press folk lp.
This lp was recorded and made for the Imperial College (London) Folk Song Club in 1965.   The front cover states "Imperial College Folk Song Club proudly presents for your entertainment it's second volume of phonographic recordings of prominent S. (South) Kensington artists"
This auction is for:
Artists: Echo Mountain Boys, Derek Hall, Ivor Grayson-Smith, The Wayfarers, Chris Wright
Title: Hoedown
Label: Imperial College Folk Song Club (private pressing)
Condition Vinyl: EX+ / EX. great copy, has seen very little play. On side 2 track 1, there are 2 small patches of 'sweating' - light marks caused by continued contact with a poly-lined inner sleeve over a long period of time - these small sweating marks have no effect on playback at all.
Condition Sleeve: Laminated Flip-back sleeve is in VG condition. The sleeve is fully intact, there is some age toning and handling marks to the sleeve and a signature and date on the rear - please see photos
Notes: This lp is rare, it's also a great lp too!  It was recorded by Terry Murrow of Imperial College Tape & Hi-Fi Society, front cover art by Chris Wright who also performs on the lp
