Wow! Original 1967 Mercury Records issue promotional DJ copy (7") vinyl 45 from The Pleasure Seekers featuring a young Suzi Quatro and her sisters!
Forget just trying to find this record, but a promotional copy!

To my knowledge, this 45 has not been re-issued.
A cleaner recording and less garagy single than their 1965 independent label release (on Hideout Records) there's never-the-less some excellent grinding organ on the A-side psych-pop "Light of Love", while the B-side "Good Kind of Hurt" is a deep soul style number with Suzi belting it out ala Aretha Franklin or Tina Turner towards the end. She may have been influenced by the whole Motown thing which was hitting its stride in Quatro's Detroit home at the time.
A rare & valuable look at early Suzi that still holds up well by todays standards.
I would grade the vinyl as VG++/EX-. In other words, pretty amazing considering its age. Just some very minimal surface noise, with no real clicking or pops to speak of. Certainly nothing bad like skips or warps .
Still has it's original Mercury Records stock logo paper sleeve. which has some various imperfections (like small corner bends, and fraying at the top & a slight 1/2" or so tear near the bottom of one side). Also on the back the original radio station this was issued to wrote the words "Top 40" on the sleeve about 1/2" inch tall. But they used a red or orange felt pen on a orange background, so I didn't even notice it till I was writing this up! For a 37 year old paper sleeve, it's not too bad actually. And it's just a stock sleeve, so the vinyl is the most important thing. If you could even find another one of these one day, it probably would have long parted company with its original sleeve.
