Roger Rackett – Designer Jeans b/w The Loser

Description: Total punk obscurity from the unlikely locale of Ontario, California, home of the Speedway (Deep Purple recorded their live lp there in ’74) and currently housing numerous shopping outlets. Extremely scarce – I know of only 3 other copies and this has never appeared on ebay. Great self-loathing lyrics: “Having hard times having fun. Getting bad vibes from everyone. I am going to self destruct! I will soon be dead…if I don’t pay my debts. I am the loser. They call me the loser. And I am still a loser.” Full of good thuggy rhythm guitar, inept leads, plodding drumming and amateurish vocals. You need this record.
