Rare??? This is an impossible to find 45 rpm record, SUN #182, featuring the song "HEAVEN OR FIRE" and “TEARS AND WINE” by Dusty Brooks. The vinyl is an unbelievable VG++! The label has some minor marks. No true Sun collection is complete without this record. This was another of my father’s prized records from his vast collection (Jay R Monroe Sr.) The vinyl is thick, glossy and scratch free. Matrix # etched U-65/45 and U-67/45. Do your homework and read about how this record came about. This is one of the most sought after Suns just by the limited number there are left. Please ask for more pictures if needed.

Released in 1953 this extremely rare Sun #182, "Tears And Wine" by Dusty Brooks & His Tones. Brooks group, the Four Tones first recorded in Los Angeles in the early 1940s and was featured in many black westerns starring vocalist Herb Jeffries. How their session ended up on Sun is unknown. These songs, recorded in Denver, were likely acquired in a master-buy by Sun.
