EIGSE EIREANN "Danta Meanteistimeireachta 1959-60" "Dánta Meánteistiméireachta 1959-1960"  (Gael-Linn EEF 001) original IRISH 1950s/60s pressing (?)  (black, green, silver, yellow label) deep groove label

RARE! Original IRISH pressing in nice condition. On the collectable "GAEL-LINN Eigse Eireann" label. Laminated sleeve.

Spoken word release, first release on GAEL-LINN. Record run-out groove has "9-15-59" scratched in, so this could be release date... Heavyweight vinyl has the look and feel of a late 50s or very early 60s release. Deep groove label.

An essential addition to any Gaelic folk collection!

NOTE: Gael Linn was founded in 1953 and has been known since then as an entrepreneurial organisation. The main aim of the organisation is to foster and promote the Irish language and its heritage throughout Ireland as a living language and as an expression of identity at policy and at community level.

DESCRIPTION : Record has been well looked after, with a few light paper scuffs, and no scratches. Plays great! Labels pristine. Cover shows some light general wear. Nice copy! Especially for a record of this age.

SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. Albums will be removed from outer sleeve to avoid seam splits in transit. All records are sent with a certificate of posting, if you wish additional insurance please ask – I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels.
