Description

OPAL (Kendra Smith and David Roback) Happy Nightmare Baby -- Vintage 1987 ORIGINAL (25 years old!) first pressing on indie label SST Records. This is long out of print and a favorite of not only fans of the famed "Paisley Underground" movement that spawned such bands as RAIN PARADE (also featuring David Roback) but also of MAZZY STAR fans as the lineup on Happy Nightmare Baby basically IS Mazzy Star minus Hope Sandoval (who, incidentally, replaced Kendra Smith on the final leg of OPAL's European tour). Nonetheless, this is a great indie rock album, and it's in great condition and looks barely played. The ONLY semblance of a "flaw" would be the upper right corner of the sleeve is clipped, cleanly. Other than that: VG.
