  • The RARE -- self-titled -- PRIVATE label -- PSYCH FOLK -- album by PROPINQUITY!!
  • Released in 1972 on OWL RECORDS (OWL 23).
  • Tracks include PEOPLE COME -- AND I A FAIRY TALE LADY -- TAPPAN SQUARE -- YOU DON'T HAVE TO HURRY -- STANDING IN THE DOORWAY -- DORIAN; 240 LAMENT -- WINDOW -- BINGHAMTON -- I'LL BE HERE IN THE MORNING -- OHIO -- MILES BEFORE SLEEPING -- SEA SONG.
  • I'll try to grade LP conservatively:  vinyl is visually VG- (scuffings and hairline-type scratchings on each side); labels are NEAR MINT!; cover is VG- to VG (cover/edge wear which includes inch-wide-or-so gouge-type tear; longish scratch-lines); original OWL RECORDS sleeve is VG to VG+ (small tear); lyric sheet is MINT!
  • Vinyl professionally cleaned by VPI cleaner and comes housed in a separate generic white cover -- no reserve -- email with questions!

  • AUDIO GRADE:  Vinyl plays mostly VG...with a few tracks that range from VG+ to EXCELLENT...Light surface noise/light crackle can be heard throughout -- sometimes fading low...Light ticks and regular ticks are spattered throughout...There are NO SKIPS...And in my opinion, NO LOUD POPS...There are perhaps 2 super-short, distorted sounds that last less than a second...Overall, plays on par to most rare, privately pressed LPs from the 1960s and 70s!...I would say that this LP plays like the typical CHUCK AND MARY PERRIN ALBUM, with the light surface and light crackle that is always found throughout...Oh, and PROPINQUITY's music is just great -- with the female vocals and piano parts especially reminiscent of the SCOTCH-PLAINS album entitled WINTER'S TOO COLD FOR SNEAKERS...Just the sweetest female vocals!
