ARTIST: J. C. Davis
TITLE: A New Day (Is Here at Last) / Circleville
LABEL: New Day 1373 / 1374
COMMENTS: Extremely rare original copy of this excellent '69 Ohio instro - a very soulful funk groover with nice breaks. The flipside is pretty cool, too (and unavailable anywhere else) - check the soundclips for long samples of each side!!
CONDITION: Looks VG-. I'm grading it conservatively, as I do with all my 45s - many would call this a solid VG. Fortunately, it plays quite well - minimal background noise, with the music being overpowering during most of both tracks. Sound-wise, it's at least a VG, maybe even a little better. In any event, when was the last time you saw a copy for sale?
