I bought this and $1000 + other autographed Lps from a big autograph collector in Encino California.
He was in the technical end of the music business. Among other things he worked at the Filmore West.
He guaranteed the originality of these autographs & I also always check the autographs against other
autographs I find on Google. The picture below is one I found on Google if you google SLY STONE SIGNED AUTOGRAPHED PHOTO you will probably find it. The first 2 Sly autographs I checked were on guitars and (although
I trust my source) they didn't look close enough to convince me for sure, The 3rd that I googled was photo I copied below
and that is dead on. Hopefully the photo will still be there when you read this (sometimes copied photos for some reason get
knocked off) but you can always Google it or other autographs like I did.

NM (Near Mint): Record and cover appear virtually unmarked.
VG++: A hair under near mint may have just a very few visual marks that should not affect sound.
VG+ : A well cared for record. Should have only very slight if any audible imperfections.
VG : Many only surface lines or may have 1 or more small scratches .Background sound but still very enjoyable. Cover defects will be noted.
VG-: significant background sound from various defects but music always quite audible above it. Cover has some damage that will be noted.
