cleaned on VPI. 1975 paris studio date. another very fine lacy record, especially superlative ensemble (scope photo)! cool to hear derek bailey doing his singular thing on structured pieces. with mild ring & coverwear sleeve is still in super beautiful condition, wax plays m-.
this record comes from the first of two jazz collections comprised almost entirely of '50s & '60s original mono pressings & promotional copies to be auctioned by farmeralfalfa here on ebay over the next six months. the collections will list approximately fifty records at a time, organized by label &/or sub-genre. many atlantic, columbia, prestige, riverside & (eventually) blue note titles. if this sounds like your thing add farmeralfalfa to your favorite seller list. this week's focus is impulse & ESP with some additional associated titles.
