Description

Rare studio recording of the Arkestra with Salah Ragab and the Cairo Dance Band.  From the notes it seems that the Arkestra only appears on Side One, the listed cuts being Egypt Strut and Dawn, said to be composed by Salah Ragab.  Presumably done around the same time as the three record live set by Ra on Praxis.  Back cover has a cool picture of the Arkestra playing with a picture of the sphinx being projected behind them, and one of the Cairo Jazz Band wearing candy striped jackets like the Dukes of Dixieland.  Pretty great. Jacket and record are mint minus.
