Description
Gene & Wendell, "Honey Chile"/"Your Sister or You" (Philips 40129). Is anyone playing this on the popcorn or the R&B scene? I couldn't find any google references (and it's not listed in Manship or Brown), but it's a SUPERB dance record with all the right ingredients to be huge. Every bit as good, for instance, as the Five Royales' "Catch That Teardrop," and in a similar vein. But it's got gritty male co-lead vocals produced by H.B. Barnum. Be the first DJ to drop this on your local dance floor and watch what happens. Condition: looks VG+, plays M– (bb hole). (I use M–, VG+, VG, VG–, G conditions.)
