Description
THE BEATLES with Tony Sheridan - the Saints / My Bonnie
OZ Polydor single NH24-673 released March 1964
When the Beatles record sales went ballistic in Australia in early 1964,
and with the band due to tour mid year, Polydor who owned the rights
to the Hamburg recordings with Tony Sheridan issued some singles to cash in.
none were significant hits and are hence very hard to find.
record is visually VG. Bonnie plays perfectly, whilst Saints plays nearly so, with
there being approx 3 seconds of faint surface noise audible about 30 seconds
from the finish. record has the release date 20/03/64 written on both sides and
"MAR 1964" also on a side (see scan). Comes in original paper sleeve.
