the Seeds "Future" release by GNP Crescendo. catalog# GNP-2038.

track listing: Introduction and March of the Flower Children, Travel with Your Mind, Out of the Question, Painted Doll, Flower Lady & Her Assistant, Now a Man, A Thousand Shadows, Two Fingers Pointin' on You, Where is the Entrance Way to Play, Six Dreams, Fallin'.

So: on the subjuect of the signatures: I do not have a certificate of authenticity to accompany this, and I was not there when it was signed (I was born at least 10 years after this record was released), but I am pretty convinced that this is signed by the band. It seems like it's pretty hard to find any signed Seeds records out there anywhere. the Seeds were a pretty underground band, wich probably has a lot to do with it. I imagine someone was hanging out with the band after the show and had it signed for fun. The collection I got it with was mostly stuff a little leaning toward square, with the occasional psch-rock gem thrown in. Note: at previous times I have not put records up on ebay as signed because I wasn't convinced enough. In this case I feel like I can get behind it, at least enough to put it up at a cheap starting price and let folks decide for themselves. I have included a picture of the signatures, knock yourselves out.

cover: kinda bent corners, top and bottomright are most notable, especially on front cover half of gatefold. bottom left corner is kind of stubbed, kind of a little bent. pretty notable bends along spine, "spine roll", much more visible on front than back. Some ringwear visible at top half of back, small amount of fade on front cover. cover has a slight wavey-ness to it, as though it has buckled a little in heat. Previous owner "Lundberg"'s name written in upper right hand corner along edge. a few other general signs of wear throughout (inner gatefold is notably better shape, except for the corner bends).

inserts:  (pictured) still glossy and sheeny, they have some visible minor wear from being handled. Probably about the average amount of wear you would expect for a used record.

vinyl: side one has about 4 minor surface scrarches, mostly tiny, and one mark on the last track that looks like a bad scratch at first, but upon closer examination, looks like a "scuff". I just played the song and not only did it not skip, there was no audible popping or clicking. Otherwise vinyl actually looks quite nice indeed. side 2 is about the same, but substitute the scuff for a couple more minor tiny surface scratches/marks and a couple little surface issue areas from the vinyl being moved around in there without a good inner sleeve.

Speaking of inner sleeves, if this came with its own special inner sleeve, that is not included. I have added my own inner sleeve, oh yes.

oh yeah, and this "Lundberg" character wrote their name on each of the labels, too. Wich is great. And there are a handful of visible spindle marks near the spindle hoe on side 2, and only one on side 1. Hotcha.
