Description
the STRANGLERS
you are bidding on 3 incredibly rare cbs factory withdrawn items from 1987 - one item especially you might never ever see on ebay again.
kept in a plastic sleeve for protection since 1987 !!!
1) a colour photographic proof on photo glossy paper of the very original cover to the album ''all live & all of the night'' which was originally going to be called ''LIVE SET '' but the name was changed & this cover was withdrawn and NEVER RELEASED with very very few copies existing - a genuine stranglers rarity - mint condition
+
2) a factory sampler sleeve of the cover of ''all live & all of the night '' - its the same as the sleeve eventually released but this copy is made of standard cardboard & has no inner gatefold pics - ex condition
+
3) the original 7'' withdrawn sleeve of all day & all of the night featuring photo of monica coughlan - again this sleeve was withdrawn & never released - mint condition
+
finally i will also include the finished sleeve of ''all live & all of the night'' album sleeve that made its way into stores so the lucky winner can see the evolution of factory sleeve design for this classic stranglers album.
these items came straight from the epic / cbs offices in aylesbury, buckinghamshire, england. in 1987
this auction is for sleeves only - no vinyl
i think this a great collectors piece for a serious stranglers collector especially the '' live set '' photo proof
due to the rare/scarce nature of these items i will only send 'special delivery' in uk & 'signed for' overseas
thankyou
