ABOUT THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK I'VE RECEIVED SINCE APRIL OF THIS YEAR-

bought (52) model airplane propellers , which at buyer's option, included a metal display rack.  Because rack was awkward and consequently quite expensive to ship, I gave buyer option in listing to "pass" on rack and save money on shipping.  All of this was quite lucidly spelled out in listing- easy to comprehend for anyone not too lazy to read it or too illiterate to understand it.  After the sale, I asked buyer what he preferred.  No response.  So, I eventually invoiced him for shipping the propellers only w/ a note included that reiterated my desire to know his preference.  He paid with no response.  A short while after he received his propellers, he kicked up a fuss about the rack.  I gave him a chance to pay the admittedly exorbitant shipping.  He refused and gave me a negative in which he told vague lies and avoided the issue altogether.  My conclusion: emotionally disturbed, possibly mildly retarded.  He changed his Ebay I.D. immediately subsequent to this sordid affair, so possibly he was just an inept scammer.  Ebay did nothing about it.

Snotty little German gave me a negative because, per all my listings, I don't sell to buyers that hide their feedback.  There's a reason that people want to hide things from you and they're usually not good.  Ebay has no mechanism for blocking PRIVATE buyers in advance and ridiculously allowed the petulant cheater to give me a negative despite the plain verbage in my listing barring them.  It's hard to cancel their bids before the listing ends because they often bid in the waning seconds of the auction.  There's no opportunity for preemptive action.  This buyer is a perfect example of why I block them in the first place.   You can't check their "FEEDBACK LEFT FOR OTHERS".  Some folks just like being malicious and it's hard to protect yourself because Ebay won't police the rats.

Oh gosh!  A sensitive fuss budget...man.  Very hard to stomach this type.  After (NOT BEFORE) he purchased the item, he complained about what was quite reasonable shipping.  This was his message (NOTE: he was "...quite shocked")- HELLO:
I have just sent you payment by Paypal for this item. I was a bit shocked by $3 postage cost on the invoice. Will it really cost $3 to post this small item to me??? I am suprised that it would cost this much even with some packing. Regular first class mail without any extra services is fine for me. If this amount was a mistake just send back any excess as a refund to my Paypal payment,

Upon this reading this pathetic screed, I immediately refunded his payment because I knew if I didn't comply with the whiner's suggestion I lose money on shipping, he'd give me a negative.  Guess what?  I can't abide fools and knaves, they give me the Heebie Jeebies and it'll probably be my downfall yet.  Ebay, of course, did nothing.

This last guy (knock on wood) is the classic would-be scammer.  Thinks he's really clever and that the rest of us are a bunch of ignorant slobs.  Told me a VG+ graded record I sold him was only 'G'.  I responded (without any acrimony, by the way- I'd gone and looked at his FEEDBACK LEFT FOR OTHERS before replying and it sent shivers down my spine; more on that later) that he should ship it back for a full refund including his return shipping.  He tried for awhile to work me for a partial refund (I swear I knew that was coming before he asked) and when I insisted that my policy was to issue a full refund, he gave up and gave me a negative for "not doing thing's the customer's way"; in other words, going quietly into the night and agreeing to be scammed by a skunk.  Ebay, of course, did nothing.  In eleven months this huckster has handed out (24) negatives and neutrals.   He considers himself a shakedown artist of the first degree, I imagine.  Beware of him?  No.    Just avoid him like the plague!

Lastly, I'd urge you to take a serious look at my feedback (I know it's time-consuming).  Look at the comments especially as they relate to this last guy's comments about "slow shipping" and errant descriptions, sandwiched in between comments from buyers who have told the truth about me in overwhelming numbers.
