Description
The Smiths Meat is Murder LP on Rough Trade Label.This is the original UK issued LP and is a promotional copy (promo copy label has been removed from back of the LP sleeve - leaving a bit of damage to the LP - nothing serious).The vinyl is in excellent condition - hardly played - and comes in the fold over lyric sheet. The matrix in dead wax id scratched ROUGH 81 A2/B1 ILLNESS AS ART/DOING THE WYTHENSHAW WALT also etched on side 1 and 2. side 2 is clea of scratches or surface marks; side 2 has 1 surface mark but no scratches so in excellent near mint condition.The labels are clean and bright no writing or spindle marksThe sleeve is also in excellent condition - the there is no writing on front or back. Still shiny and the corners are sharp and the spine is in tact. Also included is a B&W with blue stripe poster (11.5 x 22 inches) advertising the single how soon is now and a yellow A4 sheet that is the press release for the LP. Dated 5th Feb 1985 announcing the release of the LP and providing details of the LP as well as the the tour dates.
