Description

An extremely rare 78 by George "Davy" Crockett on US Chief 7010. It does have a number of marks and light scratches but they do not affect the sound, which is superb. Visually I would grade it v+, but it plays much better than that, with only slight background surface-noise. The sides are Look Out Mabel (on the label, "Mable!") and Did You Ever Love Somebody (that didn't love you). The same two sides were issued in the USA on USA816 and the b-side a different take of the a- side were re-mastered and issued on Chess in the mid-1960s. This is the genuine original!
