hooker, drums; alan michael & claude lawrence, alto saxophones; william parker, bass.  recorded hartford 1988.  after his self-released records of the '70s i consider this hooker's strongest album.  val wilmer cover photo.  alan michael = alan braufman, who made an excellent album w/ among others cooper moore for india navagation, valley of search.   sleeve has two bumped & one dog-eared corner(s).
