THE YARDBIRDS 45 PS "I WISH YOU WOULD" b/w "A CERTAIN GIRL" (Epic 5-9709).
The Yardbirds debut 45 in a Rare Promo-Only Picture Sleeve, used by ESQUIRE Socks as a publicity curio to advertise "DENIM TONES".
This pressing is even more rare as the Picture Sleeve reads "I Wish You C ould" and the vinyl record label reads " I Wish You W ould"
No tears, writing, stickers or seam splits. No heavy creases or color fading. Slight ring indentation on front and faint ink bleed-through on back from contact with another moist printed item. But this has not affected any of the print on this picture sleeve, which is sharp. Free of moisture damage or cut-out marks. Two very faint finger prints on the front. I believe the discriminating collector will be pleased with the sleeve.
No scratches. Excellent reflective sheen. No warps or skips. Pressing is on-center, with no back-and-forth swinging of the tonearm. B-side has some odd-shaped inaudible cloud scuffs. Label is free of stickers, label cuts, cracks, cut-out marks, color fading or water damage. No flaking on inside edge of the sharp-cut hole. High quality printing job with nice finish.
Produced by Georgio Gomelsky. The gale-force A-side written by bluesman Billy Boy Arnold. Kudos to Keith Relf's great opening harmonica flourish on "A Certain Girl." Engrossing echo throughout. (Stamped Matrix Number: "ZSP-78451-1G/F").
To save you money, we combine multiple purchases. Securely packed in plastic outer polybag & several layers of cardboard. Disc will be removed from sleeve to prevent splitting. If this item is not as described, we accept returns. Buyer will pay shipping to return.
