Trading house "Robert Kenz" Moscow
It has been known since the end of the 19th century, the last known date of existence is 1925. The trademark of the company: a horseshoe, turned down, between which there is an anvil, above it are two crossed sledgehammers, handles down. The office was located at the address: Moscow, the left corner of Milyutinsky Lane and Myasnitskaya, Obidina's mansion, opposite Krivokolenny Lane. In 1906, according to the project of the architect Yu. F. Dietrich, a store building was attached to the facade of the mansion, where the firms “Robert Kenz”, “N. Vetter and E. Ginkel”. They traded: agricultural supplies, household and hardware goods, gas burners, samovars, kerosene stoves, kerosene samovars (Robert Kentz owned a patent for the manufacture of combustion devices in these samovars), small machines, scales, from household to stationary, for weighing carts, weights, measures, items for commercial enterprises, devices for marbling book edges, French horns, hairdressing machines, folding chairs, drawings and sketches of furniture. Wholesale: graphophones, gramophones, gramophones (the records for them were made according to his orders at the Sirena Record factory in Warsaw).
