Description
This is for an original 1957 Chess 1653 78 record of Chuck Berry playing School Day with DeepFeeling on the B side. An earlier version had “Ring Ring Goes the Bell” under School Day but it was removed and this version became the norm. Chuck loved to write songs about his feelings as Deep Feeling was on this record and Blue Feeling came out as the B side of Rock & Roll Music the same year. The record sounds good but please remember these weren’t made yesterday and have been played before and may have some small issues. As you can see from the photos, the School Days side of the 78 has what looks like a check mark scratch but the record still plays fine with no skipping. A nice 78 to own which was the way to go before all the kids went to 45’s.
