Description
Not in mint condition I know, but still collectable, on offer here is a 1st issue of THE BEATLES 1st UK LP titled “PLEASE PLEASE ME” released on PARLOPHONE RECORDS No. PMC 1202 ‘Mono’. with matrix Nos. XEX 421-1N XEX 422-1N
Credits on Tracks 1. 2. 6. & 7 side 1 & Tracks 4.6. side 2 have Dick James mus. Co.
This is a well used and played record, with lots of marks, some of which do give crackles/clicks but it does play all way through without sticking or jumping.
Record labels as you would expect have got some wear to the labels around the spindle hole..
Flip back cover does have a 40mm tear to opening edge , which has been repaired with clear tape. Flip backs have started to lift and there is scuffing to edges, mainly at the corners, spine is clear and readable. Cover also has slight general handling marks to back opening edge, together with one or two ballpoint lines.
I know , as previously stated it’s not mint, but it’s rarity might appeal to a collector until something better comes along.
