VERY RARE 'PLEASE PLEASE ME' LP
This is a genuine mono FIRST pressing of this 1963 incredibly rare record with the BLACK & GOLD label. It has the original Ernest J Day &Co flipback cover, although as previously stated has seen better days, the top and bottom flipbacks having become detached. Also the 'Photo Angus McBean' text can be made out in far right hand corner of the front of cover.
Catalogue Number is PMC 1202
Matrix Numbers: XEX 421 - 1N & 422 1N
Has the 'Dick James Mus. Co.' credits for songs 1, 2, 6, & 7 on side one and songs 4 & 6 on side two.
The record has been 'well enjoyed' over the years. Had a very nostalgic morning playing both sides and can confirm no jumps. The record also lies flat on turntable. The black and gold labels are in pretty good condition (see pics) and are not faded or written on. Has the original 'EMITEX' sleeve.
Obviously not the best example on the market but is still a very rare and highly collectable item. A great chance to obtain a much sought after piece of BEATLES history!
Over the years these songs certainly did 'Please Please Me'
