We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Knowing a GREAT timeless artifact album when heard,   The Ugly Ducklings issued their MONO album in 1967 -- an experience resulting immediately as one of Canada’s finest garage band Lps ever - throughout the 60s.
The UGLY DUCKLINGS were included on the 1966 Canadian circuit tour with THE ROLLING STONES , The Ducks so awe-inspiring viewing their performance at side of stage, Mick Jagger blown away excitedly exclaimed "The Ugly Ducklings are my favorite band" ...

 The Ugly Ducklings indeed happened to be one of Canada’s longest lived & popular rock bands most never heard of...huh?!!  They released their 1966 "FIRE" album "Somewhere Outside" - then two more fan-favorites loaded with the classic Ducklings grooves and numerous non-lp singles.

The core group consisted of Dave Bingham (vocals), Roger Mayne (lead guitar), British-born Glynn Bell (rhythm guitar), John Read (bass) and Robin Boer (Drums). At their peak they became a Rolling Stones ripping rock band calling themselves "the Strolling Bones".

The RISE of THE UGLY DUCKLINGS :
In the summer of 1966 they secured a residency at Charlie Brown’s Place in Yorkville, Toronto and were given the opportunity to record their debut single, "Nothin’". Reportedly the single was cut for $300 and released on the Yorktown label.

Today, "Nothin’ " is widely recognized as a garage beast notable for snotty vocals, snarling defiant edge and frantic guitar solos. The bands success enabled the band to record their monster "Somewhere Outside"  album als on the Yorktown label -- remaining an essential gem of the entire sixties garage-rock scene. This 1966 small Canadian- only release contained plenty of fine originals in tradition of the British wow-sound -- driving aggressive fuzz-snarl winners. 
Of the albums tunes, "Hey Mama Keep Your Big Mouth Shut" is a blistering rocker with loads of fuzz guitar and punky vocals. Along with the seearing album version of "Nothin’ - one of the album’s better self-penned cuts, are "10:30 Train"  (a fuzzy blues rocker), "Windy City" (a 6 minute mover with great guitar work and sound effects), and the killer-classic "Just In Case You Wondered" full of punishing fuzz guitar riffs and a crazed, mind melting guitar solo.

The album is incredibly strong throughout and highly recommended to all fans of 60s garage rock -- in the apex of highs!
