Description

On offer here is a ‘MONO’ first pressing of PINK FLOYD’S  1967 UK original debut album titled “THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN” on COLUMBIA (Blue/ black label) No. SX 6157 with matrix Nos. XAX3419 -2  &  3420 – 1, with 1M & 1A stamper numbers.

Both labels display “Sold In UK” text.

Record is housed in a front laminated flip-back cover ( no file under pop on rear)

Tracks; Astronomy Domine – Lucifer Sam – Matilda Mother – Flaming Pow R. Toc H – Take Up Thy Stethoscope And Walk – Interstellar Overdrive – The Gnome – Chapter 24 – The Scarecrow – Bike.

Record shows some light marks, plays all through without sticking, skips or jumps, plays really nice, just the occasional light crackle,

There is a paint mark on the rim on side one, has no effect on play what so ever

Cover is fully intact, there is light wear to opening edges where clear tape has been added and looks like a small (14mm) tear on back one. Spine is clear and readable, some creases to laminate. Overall grades as VG+ / VG+
