Up for auction is a very 'far-out' looking psychedelic Black Light Poster featuring THE BEATLES 'All You Need Is Love' Most likely manufactured in the late 60's by POSTER PRINTS Measures 34" Inches Tall by 24" Inches Wide Thumb tack holes and tape sticker or tape sticker marks
Poster Prints Company manufactured the original WOODSTOCK poster and souvenir booklet. Under google search, there is a number of notations regarding late 60's or early 70's styled black light posters. THERE IS NO DOCUMENTATION Regarding THIS BEATLES 'All You Need Is Love' Black Light Poster The artwork is not Peter Max, but a 'Peter Max style'
I was out thrift-store shopping seventeen years ago when a good close friend of mine, Erin Wood of the Punk Band, The SPITS found several black light posters and offered this one to me That was at a thrift store in White Center, near Seattle (RAT-CITY) For seventeen years this poster has been rolled-up and stored away Part of the sale proceeds will be reinvested in my continuing friendship with Mr. Wood.
Poster has been rolled up for years, there are tape marks and thumb-tack holes on all four corners, bottom corner has a 1-2" Inch corner crease / bend, there are a few creases within the poster with light crease marks, all four corners have slight amounts of rips or tearing near edges, there is a 1/2" Inch tear near center on bottom edge. OVERALL VERY GOOD to VERY GOOD PLUS This poster has been used and 'loved' before it was donated and resold, the stored. It is not brand new or mint minus but was once hung on a wall and enjoyed. It is a 'used poster'
