On offer is a 1971 UK Led Zeppelin "Untitled" vinyl LP album on the red, white & plum Atlantic label. This album is often referred to as Led Zeppelin IV. It comes in the original pictorial card gatefold sleeve. I'm not a record collector, and I don't usually sell records, so I'm not sure what information is important. I'll describe what I see but if you have any questions please get in touch. In addition I don't really like grading this item as I don't really comprehend the grading that collectors use. I'm sure everyone has different expectations so I'll state the condition as I see it but please ask if you need to know something. Please look carefully at all the pictures as they form part of the item description.

I'm told this is a 1st UK pressing on the "plum" label which is red/white/plum. The feather symbol on side 2 is inverted. The records labels are in very good clean condition. They are marked "deluxe 2401012" and "Marketed by Polydor Records Limited". The labels are also printed with "Produced by Jimmy Page".

As far as I can make out the runout grooves are etched:-

Side A - Pecko Duck 2401012 XX (strikethrough) // A//3 1 ?(looks like a reversed 1) 8
Side B - 2401012 B//4 Porky 1 ?(looks like a reversed 1) 7

The record itself has a few minor marks / scratches but nothing that can be felt. It looks to me to be in very good condition and I can see no reason why this would not play well. Sadly I haven't been able to test it as I don't have the equipment.

The inner sleeve is dark grey with two foldback edges to the sides. It is printed with the lyrics to "Stairway to Heaven" on one side, and track titles and credits on the other. Interesting to note is that the credit to Peter Grant still appears on the record sleeve although it is gone from the record. The grey inner sleeve is good but does have a split across bottom.

The album cover is good but does have some bumping and rubbing at the corners and edges. There is some minor grubbiness to it, and it has worn right through at the top of the fold.
