Description
DWARR Starting Over by Duane Warr, his 1985 debut album recorded in Columbia, South Carolina, by Brand X Recordings. DWARR's music is described as rock, heavy metal, psychedelic, doom, dark, hypnotic, strange stuff. Personally, I have never listened to this album as I bought it several years ago for the special artwork on the cover, and it has been in my Statue of Liberty collection ever since. Legend is Mr. Warr burned all his gear, mastertapes and remaining copies of records shortly after the release of his second album Animals, when he found God and became a newborn Christian. DWARR does all instruments and vocals with Ron Sparks on percussions. 'All lyrics written in jest, no offense intended. For best results, crank it up.' This LP features the songs: Starting Over, Screams of Terror, Reach for the Fire, Christmas Shopping, Cannabinol: The Elation; Side II: Job's Revenge, Lonely Ecstasy, Candlelight, March of the Insects, I've Been Thinking. Album is dedicated in memory of my good friend, Joe Dunbar. Cover and record both appear to be in lightly used, excellent condition. Postage $4.00, ins. opt.
