Description
Here's two nice Elvis RCA 78's:
1. Heartbreak Hotel / I Was the One (RCA 20-6420, 1956 CV $100)
Condition: M- a few tiny scuffs
2. Too Much / Playing for Keeps (RCA 20-6900, 1957 CV $125)
Condition: NM to M-, a few tiny scuffs, spindle hole on side B has bit of paper missing (see pic), could be easily touched up with black watercolor pencil
These Elvis 78's are real nice, I don't think they could have been played more than a couple times.
I cannot play 78's so I have not play-graded this, I did grade it using a 100 watt bulb and sunlight, and have tried to list all the defects above - I might have missed something, but my positive feedback from record collectors speaks for itself. I define a scratch as something I can feel with my fingernail, otherwise it is a scuff.
Any 78's that were cracked, badly chipped, delaminated or pitted were thrown away by me, I do not want any ebay returns!
The white spots you see on the pictures are dust from my scanner.
Start bid is a modest $9.99.
I have sold hundreds of records on ebay for about ten years now (including 78's). All records are returnable if you are unhappy with the condition, and all 78's will be shipped carefully using cardboard interleaving.
Please look at my other records on ebay right now, I have a lot of R&B and Doo-Wop 78's going on ebay right now, please take a look.
This is part of a huge collection I am selling for a widow, her husband was a dilligent record collector for nearly 50 years. Much of the material from this collection was cleaned with a Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning machine and was carefully graded, please keep checking back to see it.
Shipping is $13.95 for priority mail with insurance within U.S. If you live in another country, it will be sent priority mail with insurance for $33.
Please check my feedback, I've been on ebay since 1999 and have nearly 500 satisfied buyers with almost no negatives, people love my ebay lots. Good luck!
