Item:  2 Elvis Mono LPs  - 1 ITALIAN [LPM 1884] & 1 GERMAN [LPM 1254]

 

NOTE:  Both LPS are scratched, but so difficult to find that they are still interesting items.

 

Label graphics are beautiful !

 

All sides play better than they look.

 

Vertical line on right side of 1254 vinyl is camera light reflection.  It is not on the record.

 

 

RECORD #1:  Elvis Presley King Creole [ITALIAN] Mono (LPM 1884)

 

Track Listing:

Labels:  VG/VG+:  Black Grooved RCA Victor Resco BIEM Long Play labels with silver lettering.  Very little wear.  No writing,  No stickers.  Some marks but all graphics and lettering are clear and crisp.  Some spindle hole wear. 

 

Record:  Good:  Still has significant gloss but both sides filled with light scratches.  Some ‘feelable’ scratches that cause audible pops and ticks.  No cracks, No chips, No pits.  Both sides play through loud and clear but for a single Side 1 skip in “Trouble.”

 

Cover:  VG-/VG:  Graphics clear and crisp with no wear except at edges.  Very slight ring wear.  No shelf wear, No cut outs, No writing, No water damage.  Upper seam is split.  Lower seam is not split.  Numerous pinholes at edges.  Some surface damage near upper and lower edges, including one upper edge tear.  Numerous small wrinkles.  Corner wear.  Very slight edge wear at right edge. 

 

Reverse:  Graphics clear and crisp with no wear except at edges.  Some left side ring wear.  No shelf wear, No cut outs, No writing, No water damage.  Surface damage to the area within 1” of all sides except opening that does not affect graphics or lettering.  One errant 1” pen mark upper right.  Red price stamp upper right.

 

Spine:  Poor:  Spine is split and partially taped.  No lettering is visible.

 

Sleeve:  M-:  Generic plain sleeve

Note:  Elvis' 1st LP.  Light pink “Elvis” lettering.

Cover:  VG-:  No ring wear.  Rub to face.  No shelf wear, No cut outs, No water damage.  Some writing.  Very slight ring wear.  Upper seam is split and partially taped.  Lower seam ½” split only.  Several small wrinkles.  Corner wear.  Some edge wear. 

 

Reverse:  No ring wear, No shelf wear, No cut outs, No writing, No water damage.  Some age wear and discoloration.    Some edge wear.  Corner wear.  Two tears at mid to lower right.  Two small tears with paper loss at lower left and upper right.

 

Spine:  Poor:  Spine is split and partially taped.  No lettering is visible.
