On offer here is a VERY rare Double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Jimi Hendrix Experience called "Electric Ladyland" and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Track labels!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF JIMI HENDRIX'S RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT IS ALSO A 100% GENIUNE 1968 UK 1ST PRESSING - WITH MASSIVELY THICK VINYL (LATER ONES ARE THINNER), 1ST PRESS 'UPSIDE DOWN' MATRIXES ON THE RECORD LABELS (LATER ONES DONT HAVE THIS!), AND 1/1/1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS!!!!  IT ALSO HAS THE STANDARD 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' GATEFOLD FULLY LAMINATED 'NUDE' COVER WITH WHITE WRITING ON THE INSIDE OF THE COVER (WHICH IS HOW 99% OF 1ST PRESSINGS WERE SOLD ON THE VERY DAY OF RELEASE!)!!!!  THERE WERE OF COURSE A TINY HANDFUL PRESSED WITH BLUE WRITING ON THE INSIDE OF THE COVER - BUT THIS WAS CHANGED EVEN BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE, AND MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT - THIS AMAZING DOUBLE LP IS A 100% GENIUNE UK 'STANDARD' 1ST PRESSING AND IS EXACTLY HOW VIRTUALLY EVERY 1ST PRESSING WOULD HAVE BEEN SOLD ON THE VERY DAY OF RELEASE!!!!

THIS DOUBLE LP ALSO HAS THE INFAMOUS 'NUDE' COVER FRONT PICTURE, WHICH WAS BANNED IN MANY UK RECORD SHOPS AT THE TIME (AND ALSO BANNED IN MANY OTHER COUNTRIES ASWELL!)!!!!  AND NOW TAKING PICTURES OF THE FRONT PICTURE HAS ALSO BEEN BANNED BY EBAY - WHICH IS WHY I CANNOT SHOW A FULL PICTURE OF THE COVER FRONT!!!!  SO IF YOU ARE WONDERING WHY THERE IS NO FRONT COVER PICTURE - THATS THE REASON!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL - AND STILL VERY PRESENTABLE INDEED!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK 'STANDARD' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS TRACK LABELS, 1ST PRESS 1/1/1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'UPSIDE DOWN' MATRIXES ON THE LABELS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVES, AND 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' FULLY LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER (WITH 'WHITE' INSIDE WRITING!)!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!   This is the ORIGINAL Track UK 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 613 008/9 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Matt' Track Labels (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels to BOTH records are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear (apart from a TINY touch around 1 centre hole!), and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s Double LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. These records are NOT and BOTH records have NO scratches, only 3 or 4 light hairlines, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, only 3 or 4 ULTRA light surface traces, and only VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  There are also 2 wierd marks in the run OFF groove on 1 side ONLY - though naturally these are NOT on the playing surface, and thus should not be included in the grading!!!!  BOTH RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINE LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that BOTH records play as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, only a few VERY light clicks (though mostly NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - though this is generally lost WAY behind the music which still plays VERY well indeed!!!!  The records are also very VERY slightly uneven (barely ANY!) - though this does NOT affect play in the slightest!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  BOTH records must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and this is still a very VERY decent set of records indeed!!!!   Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The records also come in their ORIGINAL 1st  Press inner sleeves which are both in GREAT condition with NO edge splits!!!!  The 1st Press 'E.J.Day' FULLY Laminated Gatefold Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO top edge wear, only some absolutely FRACTIONAL 'touching in' traces to the bottom edge, only some VERY minor 'touching in' to the spine (all VERY nice and solid here!), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking indeed!), only a small area of 'touching in' next to the back opening edge (and an absolutely TINY area in the EXTREME bottom left back corner!), shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering!!!!  Even the laminated inside of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO wear, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a VERY solid & presentable example indeed!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
