Description

Two "L.A. Woman" albums by the Doors, both U.S. issues:  
1.  The 1971 original rounded "radius" corners with cut-out window with clear acetate.  Elektra butterfly label.  Terre Haute pressing.       "Doors" is embossed on cover.  (See photo's.)        A-side runout etched: EKS-75011 A-1 CTH  stamp: T and artist logo

2.  The 1979 reissue with square corners and no cut-out window.  The Electra Big Red E label.       No embossed text.       Runout Side A:  EKS-75011 A-AR B-14168

Guess which one is in better condition?  Of course the newer one is better:  the more sought-after original is in marginal condition while the less valuble reissue is in near excellent condition.  One to show off and one to play?  
The 1971 record "window" cover is G (shelf wear and worn radius corners) and G+ vinyl, with VG yellow paper with "cross" drawing inlay sleeve (with split seams from vinyl).  The 1979 reissue is VG+ cover and VG+ vinyl.  Inlay sleeve is generic white.
