Elvis Presley Harum Scarum Christmas LP Vinyl Record Album Sings Wonderful World - Lot of 3:
These albums have traveled many a mile with me over the years. Actually, I've not purchased an album since I was in my 20's, and that was a long, long time ago. I really thought all my albums were long gone and just recently discovered them stored away. It saddened me to see that the covers did not fair out too well over the years; however the records seemed to come through the process just fine. All of the albums have been cleaned and played to assure they are in tip-top condition...and they are. They play beautifully.
The first album is Harum Scarum from his movie in 1965 with Mary Ann Mobley. I saw it as a teenager four times, and of course, rushed out and bought the album. The record supports an RCA Victor label and the sleeve cover shows a number of his albums. Included is a color cardboard autographed photograph of Elvis...no I didn't take it out and frame it, hang it or do anything else with it. I always kept it with the album and it is actually in really good condition.
The second album is Elvis' Christmas Album. The record sleeve is missing, but the record itself is in very good condition and is another RCA Victor production.
The third album is Elvis sings The Wonderful World of Christmas. I always like this cover, I guess because of the artistic work especially on the snowman and Santa where they paste the face of Elvis in it. The record is another RCA recording and is in excellent condition.
Although all of covers show signs of age and wear, all of these albums have great songs...and that is what is really important, isn't it. No one will ever replace the King! They can try to imitate him, but that's as close as they will ever get.
