Description
A lot of people dropped in on Sam Philip's Sun recording studio at 706 Union Avenue, Memphis and cut a personal record - even Elvis Presley did.
These tracks were cut long after Jerry Lee and Elvis had left that building.
In fact these tracks were recorded at Sam's new studio at 639 Madison, Memphis. They have never been released anywhere.
The tracks are all gospel songs sung by L.B. Harwell and accompanied on the piano by Mrs L. C. Jackson.
I have had this double sided acetate in a framed display on one of the walls of my crazy rock'n'roll house. It is time for someone else to enjoy having this little bit of Sam Phillips history on their wall in their home. Maybe they can keep it for another 53 years - I am sure I can't :)
Nobody can ever hope to have every recording made at Sam's studios as several are unique like this one. It is quite certain that nobody else has this Sam Phillips Studio LP recording!
Enjoy owning it.
It will be carefully packed and sent by free airmail to anywhere in the World.
And just to a add to the fun this auction will start at just £1.00 - enjoy bidding for this unusual item.
