Description
Hopson Family Black Gospel Soul Rare Acetate from Sam Phillips Recording Memphis, TN. Really cool soulful, Staple Singers style Memphis black gospel. The record plays at 45rpm and is on a 10" acetate. This was commercially released on Luna Records. I am going to assume this was a test pressing. "Put Your Hand in the Hand" and "Writing On the Wall" Plays good, no issues. There is some dust and fingerprints on the acetate, mostly on the outside edges and not the playing surface. I will let the buyer clean it at their own discretion. Check my other auction for a rare 78 acetate from Sam Phillips' Memphis Recording Service at 706 Union Ave (Sun Studio)
