Description
Box and information for a radio broadcast, December 24 & 25, 1982
BOX AND LPs IN NEAR MINT CONDITION. Top and bottom of box solidly attached, no splits or marks. Five paper inserts including a "Clearance Report" return card, a cover sheet with general instructions, and 3 sheets with hours 1, 2, and 3 instructions. 3 LPs in plain white inner sleeves looks virtually unplayed, will grade NM in deference to their age - probably never played. The labels do not have artist information, just identical Mutual Broadcast System disclaimer information talking about the material not being reproduced, etc, etc, "...and must be destroyed immediately after broadcast."
The sheets give a description of the sequence of events, with some of the information being "Appearances" which I assume are the recorded voices of stars such as Bobby Lamm (of Chicago), Martha Davis (Motels), Olivia Newton John, Johnny Rivers, Steve WInwood, Heart, Glen Campbell, and others. Identified songs by artists including Heart, Buddy Holly, Glen Campbell, Eagles, Elvis, Lou Rawls, Elton John, Chicago, Stevie Wonder, The Motels, Gene Autry, Nat King Cole, Avalon/Funicello, The Ronettes, and others.
