Description
FOUR O'CLOCK BALLOON - Dark Cobble Street / Two Heads (Magna US 1968). And here's another Ohio garage psych classic, from a bunch of freaks who impressed locals enough that they went out and won the Northland Shopping Centre Battle Of The Bands in 1967! These two tracks are not on that album however, but only on this 45. Strong westcoast head sounds on both sides, with a possible H P Lovecraft influence on side 1, and a daring and wild Jefferson Airplane cover on the flip. Both tracks have been comp'd. Clean M- copy, as nice as you can find. Rare!
I have been collecting and dealing rare 1960s-70s records and items for 25 years. All items are graded M/M-/Ex/Vg++/Vg+/Vg/Vg-/G/F/P based on both aural and visual aspects. “M” corresponds to 10/10 on a 1-10 scale, while “P” equals 1/10. I rarely offer records below Vg+. This is a grading system used by many LP dealers, and I use it for other types of items as well. Grading for LPs/45s is disc/sleeve. Defects or unusual properties of the item will be mentioned specifically. Feel free to inquire during the auction.
I usually have more items up for sale, be sure to check my other auctions.
I encourage use of eBay checkout, but will also send separate e-mails for verification. Shipping costs will be calculated after auction and added to winning bid. 45s and CDs never ship for more than $5 anywhere, single LPs never ship for more than $13. If you want to have the parcel sent registered or insured you must specifically require this. If you want to have the parcel sent registered or insured you must specifically require this. No ripoff "additional" fees for handling/eBay/Paypal/whatever added - what you see is what you get. Payment accepted via Paypal. For European customers I also accept direct bank-to-bank wire transfers, which is an excellent method. No money orders or cheques.
Winner must get in touch within 3 days after auction’s end and submit payment within 10 days, or item will be withdrawn and negative eBay feedback left. Enforcing this is how I got my only negative comment, and I'm proud of it. Positive eBay feedback always left for smooth transactions. Good luck!
