4766 Seconds A Shortcut to Teenage Fanclub LP

Hey there,

I bought this double gatefold LP of  'Four Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty-Six Seconds : A Shortcut to Teenage Fanclub ' from Monorail, Glasgow in 2002/2003 immediately when it was released.

Monorail had a few copies which had been signed by Norman, Raymond, Gerry, Francis & Finlay.

About 6 months later I went to a Primary 5 gig & brought along the LP & I was fortunate enough to get Paul to sign it also (he drew an extra 'bonus' person looking at the billboard, like a Shadow actually ! I figure it's the missing drummer. There must be a missing drummer in us all after all - or at least something missing . Whit !? )

Anyway, about 6 months after that I was organising a gig in The " Famous " 13th Note in Glasgow & brought the LP down, at which time the lovely Brendan obliged me by adding his beautiful mark to it. 

My mission was complete. Every member of the Fannies that had played on that album had signed it !

Job done.

This album has never been played & has been stored in its original Monorail wee plastic sheath since it was purchased. 

Now it is time for it to find a new home. 

I always thought I would keep it, but it is rare ( a one-off which you have no chance of getting your hands on again ) & the reason is right, so off it goes. Please bid with fervour. 

Monies made from this auction will go to the Chris Sievey / Frank Sidebottom fund to give the man a fitting send off.

Never forget your childhood heroes - those you looked up to - who helped make you who you are today.
